This coffee is syrupy and intensely fruity, displaying notes of raspberry, strawberry jam, vanilla, and caramel for lighter roasts. Darker roasts of the coffee become more chocolatey and thick, with notes of cherry cordial, molasses, and marzipan.

Bean Origin

Ethiopia Mother Station Natural is grown and harvested in Bombe, Sidama, a place known for its rich vegetation and climate. The coffee is produced by local farmers and processed at the Qonqana washing station, named for a river that passes through the area.

Delicious

The flavor of this coffee is amazingly complex with no bitterness whatsoever. The strawberry like flavor that lingers after a sip has been swallowed is particularly satisfying.

I have to say that I wasn't much of a coffee drink since they either smell like vomit or an ashtray. I realize now that those are old mass produced coffees and now I'm staying with the fresh and flavorful coffees from soulreviver. I love that there is a roast date and there is flavor in the coffee. My favorite is the Ethiopian light roast for its light fruity flavors.
